You can talk all you want about Briggs and Stratton engines or Kohler engine rebuild sets. I know all about them. I worked in a small engine warehouse for fifteen years. Anywhere can offer any kind of engine – they’re all the same. What really makes a difference is the customer service and there I can tell you that Repower Specialists takes the prize.

For starters, they have an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau. They link the review right from their website – they have nothing to hide. Where other businesses just want to sell you your parts and be done with you, the people at Repower Specialists want to hear about your concerns, they want to answer your questions, they want to address your complains (if you can possible have any). Yes, of course, you’re going to save a lot of money by buying yourself that Kohler engine rebuild set rather than a whole new machine, but you’re also going to save yourself a lot of headache by dealing with people who are actually interested in dealing with you and helping you figure out your problems.

If you send Repower Specialists an inquiry, they will give you a response within one business day. As far as I know, that is unheard of service. Their prompt and courteous service almost makes their promise to send – free of charge – any additional installation parts required for the kits seem like a minor footnote. I haven’t kept up on my research – I don’t really see the point – but even if there is another small engine warehouse with lower prices, I would still recommend using Repower Specialists.

Briggs and Stratton Engines & Small Engine

I know enough about my garden tractor to know when something is wrong with it. I even know enough to know that when it broke down, it was the engine that needed replacing – not the entire machine. What I didn’t know is that I don’t have to special-order the engine from the manufacturer. I very nearly made that mistake, but instead I was directed to Repower Specialists.

I had never visited a small engine warehouse before and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I knew about Briggs and Stratton engines  and Kohler engine rebuild kits, but I didn’t know what precisely they were or how to know what one to buy for my garden tractor. To be quite honest, I still don’t fully understand what a Kohler engine rebuild kit is, but I am now more than familiar with Briggs and Stratton engines . I know how they work and how to put them in my garden tractor. I know that if I ever need any assistance with it I can call up that small engine warehouse and all those nice people at Repower Specialist will do everything they can to ease my concerns. In the mean time, I shouldn’t have to worry any more about my garden tractor giving out on me when I need it most.
