Summer Gardening Tools

Summer has always been my favorite season for many different reasons. For one, I love the warm weather and being able to swim in the pool. It's nice being able to go outside to enjoy the fresh air instead of having to stay inside like in the winter. Another reason is that I love how all of the flowers and gardens look: colorful, vibrant and fun. I believe that the right garden can make a house seem a lot more beautiful than it actually is, so the importance of having a garden is a necessity.
Because I enjoy gardening so much, I always make sure to help my parents with the task. Whenever they go outside on Saturday mornings to plant new flowers or to water them, I am there to cut their work load in half. However, even though I like gardening, I still do not like the process of having to move heavy tools, dirt and other objects from place to place.
We used to have this almighty lawn mower that would not only cut the grass, but with a special attachment in the back, it would also move tools around to where we needed them. It came in handy on many different occasions, like when we needed to move a load of dirt from the back of the house to the front in order to plant new flowers. It also came in useful when we needed it for simple things such as mowing the lawn. Recently, the engine had died out, leaving us without the important tool that helped us with all of our gardening tasks. My dad had said he was going to fix it up but never got around to doing it. It was clear that he didn't want to have to go through the trouble of having to replace the engine. When I suggested that it would be easier if we get a new one, he disagreed, telling me that it would be a lot more expensive to do that.
So for a few weeks, our work was made difficult when we had to carry tools with our bare hands; it was not the kind of strength that my family possessed. It wasn't until our lawn grew to an unacceptable length that my dad finally realized that it was time to get the lawn mower running back up.
He looked up different engines until he reached Repower Specialists who sold Honda small engines, Kohler small engines and Briggs and Stratton small engines as well as many other small engines. He ordered a Briggs and Stratton small engine after he discovered that the hard work of finding the right small engine was done.
Once the old engine had been taken out and replaced with the Briggs and Stratton small engine, the lawn mower started back up without any complications. We were able to mow the lawn and garden with ease, all thanks to a simple small engine.

Off Road Go-Kart Engine

My favorite recreational vehicle has always been my off road go-kart. Ever since my dad first gave it to me when I turned 18, I have made sure to constantly keep it into the best shape it could be in. Whenever it got dirty, I would clean it and whenever there was the slightest problem with it, I would fix it up as soon as I could. Luckily, because my dad had bought it brand new, there was never any wear to it and it never had many problems. It ran just how it was supposed to and all the features were intact.
However, after a few years of usage, the quality started to decrease. With school and work I started to have less time to keep it in good condition. During summer, when school had finally been let out for the season, I tried to start my go-kart back up but it refused to run. I'd turn the key and it was dead silent: there was no motion and no sound to be made. Though I wasn't surprised to see this happening, I was upset that I had disregarded my duties to keep this in tip-top shape.
I went through the different parts that could be hindering my kart to start. It took me a while to figure out that it was the engine that had given out and because I was no specialist in this area, I had no idea why this had happened. I thought that my go-kart was a goner and that I wouldn't be able to ever use it again, so I looked up different go-karts online that I could possibly purchase. Noticing that it would take me years to save up for a new one, I decided to look into fixing my current one even though I knew it would be difficult because I've had no prior experience.
With my dad helping me, we found the company Repower Specialists who sold Honda small engines, Kohler small engines and Briggs and Stratton small engines. My dad was familiar the Kohler small engines so he suggested we try to replace the old engine with this one instead.
After receiving the small engine, my dad helped me to replace the dead engine. I was a little hesitant at first, wondering if a new engine would really make a difference. However, when we were done with replacing it, my dad took the key to start my go-kart and it was able to start up! Still cautious, I got in and took it for a test round. Even though I didn't get a new go-kart, the new Kohler small engine sure made it seem like it.
